Above all, we are very pleased that Franky‘s has taken over the water station. After several changes of ownership, the water station is finally again a highly coherent concept in an absolutely top location. To list the individual advantages would go beyond the scope here. So yesterday we celebrated our son's confirmation there and were more than satisfied. Everything was right down to the last detail, the work of the entire team and of course the service and the food were excellent. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone again, unfortunately this is always a little too short on the day of such an event! Thank you very much! It was really great!

You can sit nicely, nice view. Located in beautiful green surroundings in the middle of the Ruhr Valley and on the banks of the Ruhr. Quite large restaurant with a great, very large beer garden. Hotel next door, pier of the white fleet Ruhrschifffahrt) directly behind. Very comprehensive menu, pasta, burgers, pizza and home-style everything there. Friendly, fast service. Price level a little higher but adequate.

Great location! Unfortunately only accessible by car. Miserable public transport connection No connection to S6. Frequency until midnight required!

We went to dinner with you today, it was great - see picture - all employees were very friendly and to be present - despite the wedding in the catering, we received our food and drinks promptly. The area is perfect for hiking and cycling, as well as paddling or sub-driving. The whole location is highly recommended both in good and bad weather. Particularly child and animal friendly. ??

Very chilled out location. The outside area is very generously designed and equipped. Lounge furniture and a lawn with sun loungers round off the feeling of relaxation. Food was great. Service very nice.

Since Franks took over the water station in Mintard, you can finally go back here (if you can get a table or a seat). The food and drinks are good, the staff attentive and there is a healthy mix of self-service beer garden and restaurant. Simply great from the location ?. One can e.g. Rent SUPs to explore the Ruhr a little or start or end a trip with the White Fleet Mülheim here. If it gets too hot for you, you can of course take a dip in the cool water and fortify yourself later in the beer garden or restaurant.

Great location right on the river Ruhr, nice ambience, good cuisine, sitting outside with a deck chair, friendly service. Also nice for celebrations or parties.

The reviews that are older than 8 months are no longer current! The owner has changed and the restaurant / hotel is now called Franky's Wasserbahnhof Mintard. The food is great and the staff is good too. After the actual seat there is a large, spacious lawn with deck chairs.

Garden of Eden on the Ruhr! Large, child-friendly inn with a beer garden and a wonderful view of the Ruhr. The choice of dishes is appealing and not too large, dishes are tasty and well presented. Price performance top. So clean, modern and good-smelling toilets like here, you would like in every gastronomic establishment, which unfortunately is not always a matter of course ... HERE ALREADY! Outside there is a very nice playground with swings, a wooden boat, and a huge lawn with deck chairs, soccer goals and a volleyball net. All around are fields a paddock, bike paths and a campsite. There is also a shipping pier from where you can take the passenger ships to Mühlheim or Kettwig. Here you can linger nicely after food and drink and enjoy the silence. If you want to stay overnight, the internal hotel offers the possibility to stay overnight.

Nice beer garden, with great views of the Ruhr. Also suitable if children are there. Playground available. Had a super nice assistant waiter who often inquired about the well-being of his guests. Unfortunately that has become rare. The drinks were despite the temperatures 1a. Our pasta dishes in a nutshell. The ambience in the restaurant I can not say anything, will definitely catch up in the winter. Price performance is correct????

Saturday night in the restaurant with the family. The restaurant was relatively well visited outside. For the order of drinks we had to wait a long time. When ordering the food we were advised that the food would take longer. For waiting we got bread with aioli on the house. After about an hour, our food arrived. Price performance was good it was also delicious. Unfortunately, the burger was through, which medium was ordered. The large salad was ordered extra without tomatoes and several times the waiter noted. But the salad came with tomatoes anyway. For the burger, there was an ice coffee for free as compensation. Other dishes were good, tasty and looked appealing. The service has unfortunately been a disaster. The waiters were overwhelmed with the number of people on the terrace, drinks was therefore hardly possible or you had to wait long for the drinks. The same when paying, after we have informed the third waiter, finally came the bill. Maybe we will try again, as the food was good. But only if the service improves. Eat **** Service * Due to the service unfortunately only 2 stars.

Very nice location. Service a little slow and verpeilt, but very friendly. Pizza and burger was good. Definitely suitable for family. Great playground!
